Our standart PLASMA© He-Ne lasers with an emission wavelength of 633 nm of the GN- and LGN- series provide output powers from 0,5 to 70 mW in singlemode operation and from 5 to 100 mW in multimode. Various models with polarized and randomly polarized radiation are available.

Within this series we are offering two different product lines
  • GN-Series
  • LGN-Series

Our Helium-Neon-Laser heads feature coaxial construction with coincidence of optical and geometrical axes, except for the models LGN-220 and LGN-220M.
Thermally resistant and hardcoated mirrors are hardsealed to the lasertube ends resulting in an outstanding reliability of the laser head.


The implementation of highly efficent cathodes resistant to sputtering in the discharge and thermal degradation ensure a long operating lifetime of the laser systems.
Elastic compound utilized for fixation of the laser tube within the laser head housing provides endurance to vibration and mechanical shock.

GN-Series

The GN-Laser series are emitting in the visible range at 632,8 nm with output powers from 0,5 - 80 mWatt.

Both linear polarized and unpolarized versions are available. These systems offer a cost conscious solution for standart requirements at the traditional red line.

For laser output power upto 10 mW, the power supply is optionally available as DC-input version.

LGN-Series

For applications calling for output powers at 633 nm not accessable with the standard systems the LGN-laser series provides high power multimode systems upto 100 mWatt as well as specially designed models combining high output power with superior pointing stability and low frequency drift. Models suitable for applications requiring high power with lowest mode drift are described in our Stabilised HeNe-Laser Section.

LGN-225A, LGN-226A
These systems are intended for cost conscious applications in the low power range upto 2 mWatts, either with a linear or random polarized laser beam.

LGN-223, LGN-223-1
In the 10 mWatt region these systems provide single mode operation with linear or random polarization.

LGN-115, LGN-118
As multimode versions at 15 and 25 mWatt output power, these systems combine low cost at high output power.

LGN-220, LGN-220C, LGN-220M
These systems combine superior stability parameters with highest output powers in the market available. All LGN-220 models are utilising a SuperInvar resonator and external interchangeable cavity mirrors. The extended discharge provide upto 100 mWatt at 633 nm. The single frequency and tunable versions are described in the according sections.
