Our PLASMA© Argon and Krypton ion lasers emit in the visible spectral range from 457,9 nm to 676,4 nm and in the UV area from 334,4 nm to 351,1 nm.
As a novelty, one model provides violet lines from 406,7 nm to 413,1 nm.
For improvement of the beam quality and due to the high output power of some of the systems, a water cooling system is standardly employed.
Depending on the model, a 3 phase 380 VAC mains supply is mandatory.

Constructional Features (extract):
  • Stabilised SuperInvar © Resonator, mechanically and thermally isolated from the housing
  • Berillium ceramic plasma tube
  • Brewster windows of crystalline quarz
  • Laser mirrors hard coated
  • Wavelength selection with Littrow prism
  • Thermally compensated wavelength tuning assembly
  • System protection agains operating faults and overloads
  • Laser and microplasma welded laser tube assemblies
We are offering three different product lines
  • D-Series
  • LGN-Series
  • M-Series

D-Series

The Argon/Krypton/Mixed gas high power lasers of the D-series provide Multi-Mode, Single-Mode and Single-Frequency operation at 457,9 - 676,4 nm in the visible range of the spectrum.

Application examples:
  • Production of holographic optical elements (HOE)
  • Annealing of semiconductors
  • Pump laser applications
  • Information- and show - laser systems
  • Research

In comparison to the LGN-series these systems provide a better stability, due to the utilisation of a mechanically decoupled innovative SuperInvar ® Resonator.
The power control unit, in combination with a special stabilising system, exhibits an extremly high output stability, even with fluctuating mains supplies.
A remote control module optimises the operating comfort with an integrated beam pointing indicator. The safety system inhibits operator misusage, thus enshuring a long operating life.

LGN-Series -

The Argon/ Krypton lasers of the LGN-series are offering Multi-Mode, Single-Mode and Single-Frequency operation in the visible spectrum at 457,9 - 676,4 nm depending on the model.

The Compact-Model LGN-514 provides in the class of output powers upto 500 mW, a superior pointing stability and signal to noise behaviour in comparison to the normally utilised forced-air cooled systems.

The model LGN-513 is intended for the UV-spectral range at 334,4 - 351,1 nm. .

LGN-106
As Argon/ Krypron or Mixed Gas ion-laser this system is a costeffective solution for laser light in the blue to red spectrum, but also as white-light-laser. At a low price and comfortable operation as well as maintenance this system provides for a wide range of application.

LGN-106M5
High reliablity and a convenient size to performance ratio at an output power up to
5 Watts in Multi-Mode operation distinguish the LGN-106M5. The metal-ceramic tube with integrated laser mirrors provides for a very low maintenance operation. As a specialty in comparison to other lasers of this class, this laser my be operated in the vertical position.

LGN-512, LGN-513 UV
High stability with output power in the visible spectrum of 12 Watts in total and in the UV-range upto 1 Watt are exhibited by these Argon-Lasers. Wavelength tunable models with thermally compensated Wavelength-Selector as well as Single-Mode operation are available. The Resonator is mechanically decoupled from the laser head housing, the Berillium-ceramic lasertube is terminated with cristalline Quarz Brewster-windows. An integrated safety-system protects from operational faults and external influences.

Application examples:
  • Production of holographic optical elements (HOE)
  • Production semiconductors and microelectronic devices
  • Medical and biotechnical applications

LGN-514
As Compact- Model this water cooled Argon-laser provides 25 mWatt at the blue-green 488 nm line. An integrated Littrow -prism offers a wavelength selectability. For an increased stability the power control consists of a current stabiliser and a linear rectifier. An interlock-system protects from unauthorized interference.

Application examples:

  • Production equipment in microelectronics
  • Graphic- and imaging systems
  • Data- and information processing systems

M-Series

Within the M-Series we differenciate between the model series M 931 to M 935 as Argon/ Krypton lasers as well as the unique M-936 as He-Laser with output powers from 0,1 - 0,2 Watts in the UV and a new model series M-951, M-951K and M-951AK with output powers upto 10 Watts in total.

M-931 - 936
The ionen laser Models M-931 - 936 provide a broad spectrum of wavelengths from 332,4 - 676,4 nm, including new violet laser-lines at 406,7 - 413,1 nm and UV- lines at 332,4 - 337,0 nm.

All models are based on a proprietary and efficient technical solution:
Metal-ceramic lasertube with sectionalised plasma discharge channel of a high-meltingpoint alloy and crystalline Quarz Brester-windows as selfcontained unit in conjunction with the field magnet. Thus an easy replacement and maintenance is enshured. A gas reservoir delivers an optimal gas pressure throughout the total lifetime of the laser tube.

A special safety system prevents operator faults and an uncooled operation. The superior reliability in conjunction with the excellent longterm stability satisfy even highest demands.

Application examples:
  • Stereolithography
  • Laser mikroscopy
  • LSIC and VLSIC production
  • Medical and bio-technical applications
