Our CO² lasers are among the most compact and lightweight systems available in the market and have a longterm proven record in reliability and trouble free operation.

They are provided as continuos wave and pulsed, sealed-off, RF-excited CO² lasers. Each system delivers outstanding beam quality and stability to a wide range of OEM applications.

Key applications (extract):
  • Material processing
    • Marking
    • Cutting
    • Welding
  • Health care
  • Research applications

We are offering three different product lines
  • LCD-Series CW waveguide CO² lasers
  • LGN-901 Series CW CO² lasers
  • LGI-512 Series pulsed CO² lasers

LCD-Series

Our LCD-series RF-excited CO² CW waveguide lasers offer power outputs ranging from 1.5 to 50 W singlemode with air and water cooling.-

An innovative approach, utilising the active gas mixture in the waveguide mode at higher pressure provides for higher radiation power density and higher stability in comparison with common molecular lasers.

Constructional Features (extract):
  • All-welded metal-ceramic structure
  • Folded cavity
  • Efficient preionization system for reliable operation and minimized warmup time
  • Fixed diffraction gratin
  • Small size and low weight
  • CW or pulsed operation (upto 20 KHz)
  • Fixed wavelength in 9.2 - 10.8 µm region
  • Low supply voltage (30 V)

For enhancement of operation reliability a pre-ionization system keeps the laser in the standby mode, enshuring instant radiation when a control signal is applied. Thus a superb beam quality and radiation stability with a high degree of polarization is provided.

Application examples:

  • Processing systems for non-metal materials
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Scientific research
  • Printing technique
  • Microelectronics
  • Medicine
  • Marking

LGN-901 Series

The LGN-901B CW single frequency CO² molecular gas laser is intended to be used as highly stable coherent radiation source in the IR range of spectrum.

This laser series provides quiet, stable and reliable performance even under tough environmental and mechanical conditions. It is very easy to operate, lightweight and cost-effective in this class of laser equipment.

The device is designed to operate in telecommunication and data processing systems for amplification of super-weak signals. A metal-ceramic structure of the discharge tube with equal length dual-sectional design provides for highly stable operation. The two ceramic sections are interconnected with a metal structure serving as anode and cooling liquid artifice. Additional bores provide for gas exchange with a reservoir volume.

Application examples:
  • Remote sensing for applications in
    • science
    • military
    • industry
  • IR countermeasures
  • Lasar radar
  • Spectroscopy
  • Environmental applications
  • Medical and biotechnical applications
