Basic CW Power Systems
PM Laser Diode System
PM diode laser systems feature an adjustable output power within the given range of the laser diode utilized upto a max. operating current of 120 mA. The standard lens G3 may be substituted by any of our other lenses offered for this series, beam centering include. A digital control D1 option is available.
The version PPM is temperature controlled for utilisation of laser diodes with a max. drive current upto 300 mA. The operating mode may be constant current or output power with digital options D1, D2 and D3.
CPM Laser Diode System
The CPM system is of the same quality design as all PM systems but incorporates a switch and LED emission indicator. These additions make the CPM a CDRH certified system for Class II and Class IIIa. In order to maintain it's certification the CPM can only be used with visible laser diodes with an output power of less then 5mW.
RS Economy OEM Diode Laser System
The RS laser diode system is designed for the OEM with a cost sensitive application. In addition to being inexpensive, The small size of the RS makes it ideal for many applications. Systems that are Class "3a" and below are CDRH certified provided, the customer connects to the power source through a switch.
An optional Line Generating Lens is installed and permanently fixed at the factory, no adjustment is possible. An additional heat-sink will be required for lasers that require drive currents of >50mA.
The output power is preset at the factory so that the power is within the range of the desired laser "class" ordered, and is not adjustable. For example, if a Class 3a laser system is ordered, the factory set power will be anywhere between 3mW to 3.3mW.
LPM Laser Diode System
This module will be discontinued when the present stock is depleted. The PM series will provide a suitable alternative.

CW Power Systems with Circular Beam
Both ACM and APM diode laser systems incorporate a combination of prisms and collimating lenses to provide a circular laser beam.
ACM Laser Diode System
The ACM is a constant optical output power system as fully selfcontained unit with drive electronics built in. Laser diodes with drive current upto 100 mA can be utilized. The beam diameter is 2.7 mm at the exit with a divergence of 0.35 mRad. These units are compatible with the TC telescope for 4x beam expansion and the TC5 telescope for adjustable focus. A digital control option D1 is available.
APM Laser Diode System
The APM systems additionally incorporate a Peltier thermoelectric control with fan cooling for an optimal stabilization of laser beam characteristics. They can be operated in constant optical output power or current mode. Laser diodes with a drive current upto 300 mA may be incorporated. Also included is a 7 pin connector for DVM (Digital Volt Meter) compatible monitoring of these system parameters.

High Power CW Systems
These laser diode systems are designed for high power laser diodes with a typical operating current greater than 200mA upto 2 Amps. For an efficient thermal management, the system incorporates an internal fan, and heat sink. Depending on the type of laser diode selected, they will operate in either constant current or constant optical output power mode. The HPM incorporates an active temperature control circuit for laser diodes with a built-in thermoelectric cooler.
These systems are designed for the OEM and are fully self-contained with power supply, collimating optics and laser diode. The output power and wavelength of the system are dependent upon the model and laser diode combination selected.
The systems have optional optic assemblies that include a Telescope Collimator, Fiber Optic Pigtail Lens Assemblies, and various Line Generating Packages.
A 0 - 20MHz TTL modulated version is also available.

PPM-CW 405 nm System
Dedicated for OEM applications the PPM04 System emits laserlight at approx. 400nm from a 5mW gallium nitride-based laser diode. The integrated thermo-electric cooler (TEC) not only keeps the laser diode operating at 20°C and thus prolonging the laser lifetime, but also stabilizes the beam parameters. The PPM may be operated in user selectable automatic power control mode or constant current mode.
The violet diode module provides many advantages for a variety of applications. Besides the main advantage of a lower wavelength, the ultra-low diode temperature coefficient of 0.05nm/°C together with the TEC cooling enshure a better wavelength stability. (for comp. the average red laser diode temp. coeff. is at 0.3nm/°C).
